Shi Piao translates as “stone ladle” and describes the form’s scoop-like, angular profile. It is a recognised Yixing shape used for repeated short infusions, with the lid lifted between brews and tea poured into cups or a fairness pitcher.

Yixing zisha is known for unglazed purple clay, here appearing charcoal-black with a textured camellia panel and smooth geometric sides. Rinse after use, remove the leaves, and allow the pot to air dry.
