WHERE IT COMES FROM

Sanming, Fujian, China

This traditional Nong Xiang, or Strong Aroma, Tie Guan Yin is produced at approximately 1,300 meters in Sanming.

Leaves are handpicked as one bud with three leaves and undergo outdoor and indoor withering, repeated bruising, oxidation, fixation, rolling and deep baking.

The intensive baking transforms the greener character of Tie Guan Yin into a warmer profile of baked fruit, honey, orchid and mineral notes.
