Sanming, Fujian, China

This tea is produced from the Jin Xuan cultivar in high-altitude gardens around Sanming at approximately 1,100 meters.

The leaves are handpicked in April as one bud with two leaves. They undergo sun withering, indoor airing, pan-firing, rolling and drying. Careful fixation preserves the tea’s fresh green character and distinctive aroma.
