Exclusive Dutch White Tea comes from the Joan Tea Plantation in North Brabant, Netherlands. This tea is the result of years of work by Johan and Anne, who experimented with Camellia sinensis varieties to find one that could thrive in the cooler Dutch climate.
Made from the hardy SPZ 003 cultivar, this tea is specially grown for colder weather conditions. Rarely produced as loose-leaf tea, this batch was made just for our selection, following traditional white tea processing methods similar to Shoumei from China.

The experience
The leaves are large and multicolored, reminiscent of autumn foliage. Their size is impressive, requiring extra space in a gaiwan or teapot.
The dry leaves have a sweet and fruity aroma, with notes of forest berries and raspberries, complemented by a subtle woody character. When warmed, the leaves release a deeper berry sweetness along with earthy undertones.
The tea has a naturally sweet flavor, with prominent berry-like notes, including raspberry pudding and forest fruits. Floral hints and a touch of cinnamon add warmth, while subtle nutmeg spiciness and woody undertones provide balance.
Its texture is thick and smooth, with a lingering sweetness that makes it easy to enjoy. While similar to Shoumei white teas, this tea offers more noticeable berry and floral aromas.
This tea offers a gentle mix of sweet berry, floral, and woody flavors. Its large leaves and smooth taste make it different from other white teas, giving it a special charm. It’s a wonderful example of how tea can adapt to new environments, creating a refreshing and enjoyable cup
