First use

A bowl, a lid, a saucer

The bowl holds the leaf and water. The lid keeps the leaves back as you pour, and the saucer gives the bowl a place to rest.

A small adjustment of the lid controls the opening. Make short infusions and pour each one off completely before the next.

Warm the bowl, lid and saucer, then empty them.
Grip
Set the lid slightly ajar; hold the rim with thumb and middle finger and steady the lid with your index finger.
Pour
Pour in one controlled movement and empty the bowl before the next infusion.
